Verizon Internet Service Price?

Do they raise their price each year? My first year is almost up and today, I get an email from them stating that in the the next 30 days the price will be $33.99

Hopefully someone that has been with them for more than a year will speak up.

My monthly rate has slowly lowered. I believe its $29.99 a month for me with Verizon, but they gave me that rate for a 12 month contract, I think it's a few bucks more a month if you don't commit to the 12 month. You likely just ended a promo rate for them, if so, you shouldn't see any jump in rate other than the rate theyre quoting you now.

In this area only Cox cable ("Communications") would be the competition from what I can read. I dislike them equally.

Verizon doesnt rip you a new one like comcast. I'm actually switching to Verizon late this month. Comcast has had a monopoly in my area for too long and I'm pissed that they're trying to make me pay for NFL network now after having it free since the network took off. Verizon if offering everything I have iwth comcast plus phone and more channels for less. Fuck Verizon...nah, FUCK COMCAST!!!!!!!!!!
